Attic Inspections

Roofing Louisiana strives to be the best we can be in service and application, and just as important, an asset to our community. One day you or a family member may need us and we want you to know you can count on us “We’re not leaving town”.

Quarterly we will keep you updated of any news in our industry – from solar products that make homes “Energy Efficient” to hazards in your attic. Simple home maintenance inspections can prevent future problems.

December is “Attic and Roof Inspection Month”

Roofing Louisiana would like to notify all customers that you want to have the right insulation in your attic, one of the most costly but preventable energy eaters. If your attic insulation is not at least 18”-thick (Code is R-38), from the ceiling to the top of your insulation, you may need new insulation – which we provide and inexpensive compared to the savings and “Energy Tax Credits” you can receive by updating your home.

While checking your attic, always look at your vent pipes and plumbing pipes (normally sticking through the roof – making sure the connections look tight). While you are doing an inspection of the attic, look at the hot water tank and make sure all the connections fit properly.

Roofing Louisiana offers an annual “Maintenance Program” that can help you with these important issues, and with our “Maintenance Program”, we will inspect your roof and clean any debris that could cause future problems and check your attic and pipes.
